A learning management platform for Creative Shikkha Poribar Coaching Centre, handling student enrolment, batches, courses, and staff operations. It was delivered across two development cycles: the first shipped a TypeScript/Express REST API, a Next.js client frontend, and a separate admin panel. After reviewing v1 the client revised the requirements substantially, and the client-facing layers were rebuilt as a single Next.js 15 application while the API server carried forward unchanged.

The judgement call was what to keep. The API had stable contracts and clean separation — it did not need rewriting. The frontend and admin panel did. Splitting the decision that way meant the second cycle shipped without touching data models or authentication, and cut three deployables to two.
